My Green Home can provide a range of fully-funded energy-efficiency improvements for your home. Working in partnership with City Council, on behalf of a consortium of local authorities, these improvements are funded by the Fund and the Local Authority Delivery scheme.

Internal Wall Insulation (IWI)

You could be eligible for FREE internal wall insulation Internal wall insulation is more commonly known as solid wall insulation and it’s an effective way of keeping heat from escaping through the walls, especially if your home is not suitable for cavity fill.

An air source heat pump is a low-carbon way of heating your home. Air source heat pumps look similar to air-conditioning units. Their size depends on how much heat they'll need to generate for your home - the more heat, the bigger the heat pump.

Solar Panels

How do solar panels work? A solar PV panel consists of many cells made from layers of semi-conducting material, most commonly silicon. When light shines on this material, a flow of electricity is created. The cells don’t need direct sunlight to work and can even work on cloudy days. However, the stronger the sunshine, the more electricity generated.

Room In Roof Insulation 

What classifies as a ‘Room in Roof’ A ‘Room in roof’ is a room within your roof space that is accessed via a fixed staircase. It will usually have sloping ceilings visible in the room, however if there are full width dormer windows present, there may not be any sloping ceilings visible. A room in roof could be a converted roof space such as a loft conversion or an original part of the design such as the upper floor in a dormer bungalow.

ECO 4

ECO4 is the fourth phase of The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) – a government-funded scheme that makes UK homes more energy efficient and tackles fuel poverty. Since 2013, over 3.1 million home improvements have been made under the scheme, but this final phase aims to go even further. As part of its Sustainable Warmth Strategy, the government has extended the ECO grant for an extra four years, meaning it will run until March 2026.
